Matt Nall was born in San Antonio, Texas, where he found early success as a JCPenney runway model showcasing the finest children’s western wear the early ’90s had to offer. But after finding it increasingly difficult to model children’s western wear as an adult, he pivoted and studied film and advertising at the University of Texas.

He later moved to New York City, where he spent nearly a decade creating award-winning work for brands such as DIRECTV, Dos Equis, Heineken, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, and FedEx.

He has since returned to Austin to join Callen—a Wieden+Kennedy–backed agency led by Craig Allen—where he’s created award-winning campaigns for Disney+, Liquid Death, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Lone Star Beer, Naked Wines, and indie rock darlings Real Estate.
